S. Korea or Bust: Everland

We went to Everland finally. This is like the 3rd largest, or something like that, theme park in the world. We have so many students who would talk about coming here, but we never got around to it. The day we decided to go was also a rainy day. I forced Jeremy to still go, and we are glad we did. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get there, ugh. When we got there it was still raining, so we decided to buy ponchos so we wouldn't get too soaked. Funny thing is, we put them on for about 5 minutes and it quit raining and never rained again. Hahaha!! :D Oh well, better safe than sorry. But because of the rain, many rides were not running. Instead we headed to things that were inside. Thankfully, not shortly after this a ride, The Flume, opened up and we only had to wait like 10 minutes to ride it. As we were waiting in line, we saw the wooden roller coaster start running so we planned to go there next. Our friend Ward was telling us about the wooden roller coaster: it has the steepest decline for a wooden roller coaster in the world. Oh my gosh!! I braved up and decided to ride it; so did Jeremy. We waited in line for about 20 or so minutes. As we climbed up in the roller coaster I started to get nervous because I knew what was coming. I think Jeremy was already nervous in line. :) When the drop came I screamed bloody murder! It was so scary! From there you do another drop, tight turns and a bunch of camel humps. I screamed pretty much through the entire thing. At the end of it, I wasn't sick and I was happy to do it again! :D We did ride it a second time, but at night. That was scary too! I screamed again at the first drop, and practically through the whole thing. My voice is still a little hoarse today ( 4 days later). After this, we walked around the park more and found a Safari. This was cool! We saw about 6 white tigers, a bunch of lions just roaming the street, a few Bengal tigers, and..... a LIGER!! Neat! There were also bears trained to walk and wave. We were in a bus so we were able to get up very close to the animals. Fun experience! :D In another location, I paid $1 to feed the birds so one could land in my hand. Then it flew away and scared me a little bit. :D There were many other attractions we saw and did, and some were fun, some were stupid, and some were just interesting. We were happy to have met up with our friend Ward and his friend Joe. It made our experience all the more better. Over all we had a great time at Everland, and would gladly do it again.
