Korean kindness

The people here really are amazing and bend over backwards to help a couple of American idiots, the first lady we asked where to find a bank only spoke a bit of  English but she ran in her house and chased us down to give us 10000 won.  Thank you lord for putting people in  are lives, it lifted are spirit and gave us money for a meal. :)We also have been practicing our Korean alphabet we have a long way to go before understanding all these sighs everywhere.

Does anyone speak English?!

This was our life saving phrase it seemed like. And we had to ask a lot of people before we could even discover a tip to what we were asking about.

After taking a few circles around the block in the taxi, we finally found our hotel. Then we were told that the lady who was to meet us that first night actually wasn't going to make it for a couple of days. So when the taxi driver (who did not speak English) left quickly, we realized we were now stranded -no food, no Korean money, and no way of contacting anyone at that time of night. So after some somber time, we decided to venture out to discover anythign that would help, but unfortunately, no money exchange businesses were open, so all we had to eat were granola bars and salt water taffy. We decided to go to bed about 8, hoping to sleep the awful night away, and begin a fresh new day. Thankfully, God showed us mercy the next day......
